is this through xfire? I cant connect to promod servers through xfire even though I already have the mod, it still tries to DL it and freezes. joining normally is ok Nope, i use the console command to connect straight in. Should i download any client program first from somewhere and try that?

no client except auto DL, most clans rename the folder so DL'ing doesn't really help. If you can identify the folder in your \mods directory and player profile \mods directory then deleting it will usually fix the problem. H2o had the same problem and I think that's how he cured it.

It was really great to see so much aXe's together online after a long time. We should that that much more, every friday and/or sunday?
Anyway, i had contact with Grover about the lagspikes (connection interrupted) that some of you had. Strange thing was that not all of us had the same problem, so it wasn't the server itself. We were right about that because there was a problem with 1 of the Amsterdam routers in the Grafix network. It was not only us, but more customers of Grafix had the same problem. They have realised a temporary solution until the new blade for the Cisco router has arrived.
